“The first step in learning “how” is to start focusing on what you want.

Many people are so stuck in knowing what they don’t want in their lives that they haven’t spent any time thinking about what they do want, which is obviously more important.

It’s so obvious that most people aren’t doing it.”

It’s waiting within you.

Follow these 7 amazing “can do” tips consistently for the next 7 days and feel happier.

Tip 1 – Think Positively

We think over 60,000 thoughts every day. Most people are thinking the same things repeatedly and they are negative. Notice and let go of negative thoughts, create positive and happy thoughts. Happy people think happy thoughts!

Tip 2 – Smile

Smiling changes how you feel about yourself and your world. A smile is infectious and spreads to those around you. It’s great for your immune system. Your overall health is improved when you smile and laugh. It’s even possible, and there’s evidence, of people curing themselves of dis-ease in their body through the power of laughter.

Tip 3- Know What You Want

It’s okay, in fact it’s true that you can have what you want in this world. Focus your mind on what you want, say goodbye to the stories, excuses and reasons why you can’t have it and accept anything is possible for anyone.

Tip 4 – Create

Be at the cause of what happens not the effect of circumstances including other people’s actions and their opinions. Create how you want to feel by thinking thoughts that make you feel good. 7 Steps to Being Happy

“When something becomes unconscious for us it’s habitual.

We don’t consciously think about it anymore. When we’ve been a driver for a while we stop thinking about how we do it, we just know.

We hand it over to our unconscious to take care of it. We do the same with breathing and all the other processes of our body.

The good news is that negative habitual thinking can be changed. Once you’ve decided to change, you can focus on “how”.”

“What is habitual thinking?

It’s thinking a thought over and over again. It’s a thought or belief we learnt from childhood and continued believing as adults. They are usually limiting thoughts and beliefs about ourselves and the world we live in.

Let’s be clear some habitual thinking is great. As children we created the habits of taking care of ourselves physically such as cleaning our teeth, etc.”

“Even when something good happens instead of feeling happy, some people will put it down to luck and continue the pattern of dramatising the other things that are wrong with their lives.

In contrast, happy people make their own luck by seeing the possibilities rather than the limits.”

“Maybe you know this information and aren’t using it. Whoever you are this information is important.

It’s habitual thinking that leads people to dramatise their lives with the stories of what isn’t working, or what they don’t have, or how “so and so” upset them today.”

Inspiration For Sunday

Happiness is the best medicine.

In my experience we could all do with a laugh everyday to keep life in perspective…isn’t it so easy to take life too seriously.

Laughter Therapy is a great way of releasing stress and problems…after a good laugh anything becomes possible and solutions miraculously appear in our lives.

Of course, you don’t have to join a Laughter Club, you could just decide that you’re going to find more stuff to laugh about…afterall life is pretty funny when you think about it.

I find it helps to spend time with people who can easily laugh…laughter’s infectious afterall and the more the merrier.
