Inspiration For Sunday

Hello,

This week’s Inspiration For Sunday is a short video from Brian Tracey. He’s one of the guru’s of self-development and has many courses, books and CD’s on how to be successful and get the most of out of life.

Here he is talking specifically about how to “think” about what you want in every area of your life in order to create it.

One of the benefits of working with a Coach is that you receive help in discovering and recording what you want specifically in all the different areas of your life. Once you’ve worked out what it is, you can begin to take the small steps daily that will get you there.

Did you know how absolutely powerful writing out your goals can be? Most people carry their wishes and dreams around in their heads. Unfortunately that’s often where they stay – in their heads. Whereas writing out your goals is powerful and life affirming it siginifies you’re serious and committed to them.

Even if you know what you want, life tends to be distracting and what you want may be put on oneside for later or for when there’s time.

Our point of creation is only ever in the NOW, the past has happened, and the future is ours to create – we create it in the NOW. It’s what you do and think now that matters.

Inspiration For Sunday

This Sunday’s inspiration is a feel good tune with images of some of the good stuff in life!

How many of us dream of luxury, how many of us think that it’s only for other people?

After listening this week to a Deepak Chopra audio track I realised that “luxury” wasn’t even in my vocabulary. I decided to change that and have imagined and talked about luxury all week to raise my vibration to the level of attracting it.

It strikes me that “luxury” is a mindset, just like happiness. It comes from inside us not outside us. It’s not about money it’s about our thoughts, it’s what we believe about ourselves.

The words and quotes that accompany this weeks video are worth putting your attention on.

Remember, we create our reality – what shows up in our lives – through our thoughts.

I was reminded this week that we tend to believe our thoughts live inside our minds when the truth is our thoughts are pure energy. They exist in the non-physical and attract the energy they emit back to themselves like a boomerang.

In practical terms this is why when we worry or are fearful of something in our lives, we tend to think more and more of the same sort of thoughts, they hook to each other. This is energy attracting more of the same energy. When we stop and decide to do something about our situation and decide what we’re going to do, we attract the thoughts of the solution.

“Your imagination is a tool to be used. It can be developed like any muscle, the more you use it the better it works.

Imagine your mind is a blue, blue sky and the negative thoughts are represented by purple clouds.

Imagine the positive thoughts are silver clouds.

Whenever you realise you’re thinking a thought, ask yourself is it purple or silver?

If it’s purple, say, “Bye Bye” and look for a silver cloud to think instead.

You’ll get better at this the more you practice.”

Inspiration For Sunday

Today’s inspiration is a very short, powerful message and process from Deepak Chopra.

Often we’re taught stuff but not really shown how to do it.  For example, the concept of losing weight is a simple one, take more exercise and eat healthy foods. Just doing these two things makes an impact on excess weight.

Where we all struggle is “how” to do these things. It’s my experience that what stops us are our feelings. Our feelings are giving us messages about how we are seeing or perceiving our reality.

When you understand what your feelings really are and how to read and use them in your life, you become more powerful and more able to make the changes necessary to get want you want from life.

If you have a recurring emotion (energy in motion) that is stopping you doing or having something you want, give the process a go and let me know what happens.
